Spring Schedule for Dads And Donuts

Dads And Donuts (DADs) is a two-part Friday morning program ... the first and most important part is with your kids. Here's how it works:

GOING THE LONG WAY
First, as your work-schedule allows, get up extra early and take your kids to school by going the long way ... do something different and create special times by going to Krispy Kreme (that's where "Dads And Donuts" got started), IHOP, Waffle House, or even better ... grab your jacket, some OJ, and muffins then head down to Cherokee Blvd. for a few quiet minutes by the river. Sure it'll be cold, but you'll be alone with the most special gifts God has entrusted to us, our children. BUT DON'T BE LATE FOR THE TARDY BELL!

DADS MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Second, join us from 7:50 - 8:30 AM in the Shea Room (or at Mass, see schedule below) after drop-off and get to know the other Sacred Heart Cathedral School dads. These other dads are a great group of like-minded guys who are connecting with the dads of our kids' friends; we're building a stronger Sacred Heart community ... it also keeps us (as parents) involved in our kids world. In addition, we also hear topics from speakers. Here's a list of the upcoming DADs spring events/speakers:
  • Feb 5: All-school Mass w/ Fr. David, 8:05 AM
  • Feb 12: No school ... no DADs
  • Feb 19: Principal, Mrs. Prater, school update
  • Feb 26: Presentation - Review of Sacred Heart Projects in Haiti
  • Mar 5: All-school Mass, 8:05 AM
  • Mar 12: Pending - Mrs. Prater
  • Mar 19: Cyber Security for Parents, Agent O'Brien, FBI Knoxville
  • more to come...
